In a recent episode of The Osbournes podcast, Sharon Osbourne expressed her concerns regarding the upcoming debate between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden.

Osbourne’s stark commentary included labeling the event as “horribly embarrassing” and likening it to “elder abuse.”

Osbourne’s critique emerged during a conversation with her family on the podcast. She voiced her apprehension, saying, “I don’t think I can watch [the Trump-Biden debate],” to which her son, Jack Osbourne, responded, “It’s elder abuse.” Sharon agreed, emphasizing, “It is. I know what’s going to happen, and I couldn’t take it. I think it’s going to be horribly embarrassing and horribly cruel.”

The discussion further included remarks from other family members. Kelly Osbourne stated she had no desire to watch the debate, while Ozzy Osbourne echoed the sentiment.

This collective family view underscores a broader skepticism about the appropriateness of having two septuagenarian candidates engage in a rigorous debate.

Sharon’s comments also touched on logistical aspects of the debate, particularly the duration. She claimed that Trump wanted the debate to last an hour, which she deemed “horribly cruel,” suggesting that neither candidate is physically equipped to endure such a lengthy engagement at the podium.

The podcast episode also discussed Trump’s recent appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, which garnered significant viewership. Jack Osbourne noted, “Donald Trump went on Logan Paul’s podcast — and got three and a half million views in three days. It’s pretty big, and it was kind of a bid to bring in some young voters.” Sharon added that she watched Trump’s appearance, remarking, “That’s the Donald Trump that I know. That’s the way I’ve always seen him.”

Moreover, the topic of a Manhattan jury finding Trump guilty on 34 counts that District Attorney Alvin Bragg asserts are felonies also came up, with Jack offering an interesting fun fact regarding American history.

“Do you want to know the reason why you can be a felon and be president?” Jack asked his relatives, to which Ozzy guessed, “because it’s never been written?”

“Actually, it’s because, according to British law, when America went through the American Revolution, all the founding fathers were declared felons,” Jack said. “So, technically, George Washington was a felon. He was the first president.”

Hollywood stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts struck an ominous note at Saturday’s glitzy Los Angeles fundraiser for Joe Biden, warning that “democracy” and “our children’s future” are at risk if former President Donald Trump re-takes the White House in November.
