Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts has recently addressed the public to clarify the organization’s connection with former President Donald Trump and the ambitious Project 2025.
Roberts addressed the former president’s comments in a Tuesday interview with the Daily Caller, saying that the project is meant to be a “restaurant menu” for the next administration to choose policies and personnel from.
This initiative aims to prepare conservative leaders for future governance, outlining a comprehensive plan for the next conservative administration.

Trump wrote about Project 2025 in a Truth Social post, “I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them.”
The Heritage Foundation’s efforts are geared towards creating a government blueprint that can be readily adopted by any conservative leader who may assume the presidency.
The foundation has assembled a coalition of over 50 conservative organizations to contribute to Project 2025, highlighting its broad-based support within the conservative movement.
