And why is there a demonic growing movement, small but of people who call themselves Satanist. Well it really goes back to Genesis, right Adam and Eve had everything except the permission to eat from one tree.

That everything now Lucifer at this point back in Genesis had already fallen, and we’ll get to the verses about him falling, but he had already been kicked out of the garden. So his sense he wanted to be God, you know, replace God, and was kicked out for that, and he knew that he would it eventually be damned for eternity. Then, as the father of lies, a murderer at heart, he then immediately goes after God’s highest creation, which was creatures called human beings made in the likeness of God, with the ability to commune with God. And who would spend eternity with God those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and his work on the Cross.

So he tempted Eve, what, just are you sure you don’t want to eat that? Because the real reason why you can’t is because God knows you’ll be like him. Well, Lucifer fell. So how deceptive of a statement was that that he knew the ramifications of coming up against God as you would fall? Well she did. Adam followed suit, and here we are.

So we’re gonna march through the Bible. We’re going to go over the reality that we here in twenty twenty five when I’m recording this. We continue since that point of walking amongst demons around us. Sometimes they will be in governments, they’ll be working on the minds of false teachers.

They can only be one place at one time. There’s Lucifer, who was a from the Acorny scriptures, was a highly exalted angel. He can be one place at one time. We see in Job that he actually appear to God in a limited fashion, asking that you know, well, let me show you that you people don’t really love you and worship you.

Just give me access to Job. But the demons are possessing people, oppressing people, They are influencing people, and they are firing darts at those who are God’s children. Satan says, goes around like a roaring lions, you know, trying to get us paralyzed so we can’t be at the Lord’s work. So hold on, it’s gonna be It’s gonna be a lot of scriptures, but I think I can hopefully bring it all together so you can understand the reality that we walk among them, the ramifications of them having access to people.

But before we get started, I just to let you know they cannot possess a believer, So there’s no such thing as a demon possessed child of God. And we’ll get to all that. So as we get started, I like to start in Hebrews four twelve, because you’re going to hear a lot of scriptures from God’s word. God says, he exalts his word above his very name.

Jesus is the logos, the Word of God. The Holy Spirit inspired forty authors over fifteen hundred years on three continents to write what we call the Bible. Three continents, fifteen hundred years, no contradictions. How is it possible, God the Holy Spirit was breathing, was inspiring, was moving on the hearts of the men.

So we have prophets to fishermen, to tax collectors, to kings, even the half brothers of Jesus, who didn’t believe till after he rose from the dead. One of the writers in Hebrews Versus eleven through eleven and twelve said, let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest, to rest in the Lord, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience. Those are the Jews, because they kept resisting the Messiah. They actually brought the Messiah to Rome to have him executed.

And he says in Hebrews four twelve that the word of God we’re going to go over extensively today. It’s living, and it’s active, it’s sharper than any double edged sword. It pierced even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It’s a discerner of the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Paul to Timothy, before he was martyred in prison in Rome, to the young pastor, he wrote, two Timothy three fifteen through seventeen. From infancy, you have known the Holy scripture is what you’re able to make you wise for faith in Jesus Christ. All scripture is God breathed, not some scripture, not the parts you like or I like. All scripture is God breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training and righteousness, so that the Man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.

Jesus said in Matthew four to four, it is written man shall not live on bread alone, but from every word that comes from the mouth of God. Romans fifteen to four. Paul wrote to us, for everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope well as believers. Then Philippians two applies to us.

Paul said we should imitate Jesus. Christ’s humility starts in verse two. Make my joy complete by being like minded, having the same love, being one in the spirit and of one mind, that is Christ. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vacancy.

Rather than humility, value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests, but each of you to the interest of the others. Believers in your relationships is one another’s. Have the same mindset as Christ. Jesus, who, being God the very nature like It, says in Clautions one Hebrews one John one.

Jesus, who, being very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to hold onto to use to his own advantage. Now that Jesus made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness, and being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself. Stop here for a second. Jesus Christ, God the son who before time, in accordance to the counsel of the Godhead’s will, agreed decide he would come and die for the elect.

So he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross. And therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave Jesus the name that is above every name, that the name of Jesus Christ. Every need should bow in heaven and on earth, and utter the earth, and every tongue acknowledged that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God, the Father walking among demons. Through this podcast, we’re going to knowledge the reality of the spiritual warfare the Christians are in during our time on earth.

We’re going to emphasize the importance of recognizing and preparing for these spiritual battles and one Peter five eight Peter wrote, be so minded and be watchful your adversary. The devil prowls around like a roaring line, seeking someone to devour. The devil is real, Lucifer the morning Star. We’ll look at several scriptures about him.

He’s not some fictitious character, someone that’s you know, ying Yang bad good. He’s not equal with God by any means. He was created. It’s not a tug of war between good and bad, and he’s defeated.

But until his final judgment and when he’s cast into outer darkness with the demons and with those who reject Jesus Christ, he is this is his domain. When Adam and Eve fail. Lucifer is the god of this little g the god of this earth, and the angels that fell with him are his soldiers. And you’re even in the heavens.

We’ll see in Daniel. And we need to be aware of his tactics because then we can defend ourselves. See, every day, this is what I do. This is what I would recommend.

Every day. I wake up and I think the Lord is mercies are new. Like Lamentations three talks about when Jeremiah says, even in the midst of Jerusalem falling, God, you’re awesome. Thank you that your mercies are new.

Then get into the Word. I go through the Bible. Most days we’re going through Joshua and the Old Testament. Luke, in the New Testament, you can go through a chapter with us.

So prayer in the Word. During the week, be in fellowship with believers that are biblically strong, and go to a healthy Bible teaching church. But as as we are starting each day, thank you God, your mercies are new. Prayer and the Word.

Put on your armor before you get too far into the day, and especially before you head out to work. See, spiritual warfare is a reality. It is the more that you’re walking with the Lord, and in the word, you’re going to even you understand more why people do what they do. Remember Jesus on the cross said, Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they’re doing.

They’re they’re actually they’re killing me, their Messiah. Forgive them, but they don’t know what they’re doing. Stephen, when he was getting stoned, he was trying to tell Israel the Messiah, you know, Jesus, they stoned him, and who was ushering in the who was giving his endorsement of the stoning Paul Saul at the time, they said that they don’t know what they’re doing. Well, people in their flesh, people that are around you, people at work, they don’t know what they’re doing because they’re not filled with the Holy Spirit.

And so they’re living out their flesh the desires of their eyes, the desires you know, of of their what they see, what they want, and they’re puffed up with pride, and they’re just pursuing self because their father, the devil, is all about I. That’s why you know in English, I is the mill middle letter in pride. God hates pride, so that in the struggle, which is going to require faith in prayer. We need to be armed with the words.

We need to have our full armor of God. Ephesian six, starting in verse ten, Paul, writing to the church, said, finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the double’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

He says, to put on the belt of truth, which means you’re going to ground your life in God’s unchanging word, the breastplate of righteousness, which will protect your heart as you pursue God’s will and the Holy spirit to live according to his will. Chiel, the faith will guard against doubt and fear, sort of the spirit. It’s the word. Now.

When we do that, and we keep in mind what James said in James four seven, submit yourselves then to God resists the devil, and he will flee from you. You were already right. So because you know the the arrows are going to be coming, you know that we need to be in prayer because in Ephesian six, Paul continues in verse eighteen, praying the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and request, would this in mind be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. And he finishes up pray that I may declare the Gospel fearlessly as I should now.

Jesus in Luke ten sixteen and nineteen said, whoever listens to you listens to me. Whoever rejects you rejects me, and whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me. And the seventy two disciples that he had sent out, they returned to a joy, saying, Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name. So Jesus just to expand on the fact that they had authority in Jesus’ name over demons on earth.

He then replied, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have authority in heaven on earth, and we saw and Philippians and heaven on earth and below the earth. Jesus is Lord. So he told him, yes, I understand, I am sovereign everywhere I saw Lucifer Satan get kicked out of heaven and I’ve given you authority to trample even on snakes and scorpions, and to overcome all the power of the enemy without not with nothing harming you.

Jesus and John first John four four said sorry, John wrote in First John four four, you are from God, little children, and you have overcome them, because greater is he who’s in you than he who is in the world. Again, First John four four to us, you are from God, little children, and you have overcome the world because greater is the Holy Spirit who is in us. God, the Holy Spirit, we are. We have, We have everything we need through the Holy Spirit and through God’s Word.

So greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. So yes, even though Satan fell, even though Satan deceived Eve, which introduced sin and death into the world, even though there’s all this warfare taking place, God is sovereign now in our day to day. Okay, so we just went over the reality in God’s word. It is from God and that Jesus from before in the beginning decided or agreed on or it was the plan of God that he would die for the sins of the world. Lucifer, before all this took place, he was able to convince and I think the scriptures show and we’ll go over some of the verses that a third of the angels the Bible doesn’t say specifically, one third of the angels fell, but you’ll see that the stars fell and the third of them followed the Morning Star. But I believe there’s I don’t know how many tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions of fallen angels, demons that are doing the work of their father and their children.

According to the Bible of the devil are those in the culture who reject Jesus Christ have not been called, who are not filled with the Holy Spirit. Well that sounds pretty intense. Eric, Well that’s what See if we get out of the Hollywood scene, just get into just look at the scriptures and then look at life and not get all exorcists and all this weird. Just dealing with day to day it makes sense.

So Jesus said, if you’re not for me, if you’re not harvested, if you’re not helping me increase the kingdom, then you’re working against me. He said, if you deny who I say I am, you will die in your sins without being born from above. Then people are walking around and in darkness, and the Bible says that they don’t want to come to the light, which is why you will get rejected by people sometimes. And you don’t know why they seem to hate you, Well, Jesus said, don’t.

Well, they hated me first, they will hate you. It’s because they don’t want to come to the light, because their deeds are evil and they don’t want them to be exposed. See you got you have all of these fallen angels that are working, oppressing, possessing people. So an Act thirteen ten it says, you are full of all deceit and fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness.

Will you not cease to make crooked the straight ways of the Lord Matthew thirteen thirty eight, Jesus said, in the fields, and the field is the world. And as for the good seed, these are the sons of the Kingdom, and the terrors are the sons of the evil One. This is when they’re separating from the weed and the terrors. In the end, the terrors are the sons of the evil One, sons of Lucifer, which means that they haven’t been born again.

They’re walking in darkness. They do the will of their father, the devil, which is what John Jesus said in John eight forty four. This is to the religious and those around watching the ones rejecting Christ. Jesus said, you are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father.

He was a murderer from the beginning, and he does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John six seventy. Jesus answered them, did I not myself? Did I myself not choose you the twelve to the twelve apostles, and yet one of you is a devil.

God’s sovereign plan included Judas, which the Bible says reference judas his final destination or the result of being used by Satan to sell Jesus better that he had never been born. So Jesus is in control even during the deception, Jesus was in control on the cross. On the cross, Jesus says, it is finished to tell us die. He conquered death and sin, the sovereignty over eternity, and for those who would believe their sins were atoned for one John three ten.

By this, the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious. Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God nor the one who does not love his brother. There’s a lot of other scriptures that are dealing with the world, the people who love darkness. But Jesus was very straightforward.

You’re acting the way you’re acting selfishness, rejecting me. You’re in darkness because your father is the devil, and you do the desires of your devil of the devil. This doesn’t make us better people. This isn’t some mystical thing.

It’s a reality. There’s there’s a was a former exalted angel who tried to be God, and God does There’s only one God. Yeahweh and he cast him out in Jesus’s Lord. Now, the nice thing is we have victy in Christ, even in the midst of walking amongst demons who are destroying lives around us.

This is why we see drug abuse, human trafficking, murder, lying, thievery, this is why we see pornography, abortion. But Tewod Corinthians ten three through five, we’re encouraged that we, as believers in Jesus Christ, feel what the Holy Spirit, taking in God’s word, sitting under good teaching, prepared to give an answer for the hope that lies within us. We can demolish arguments in every pretense that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. Paul reminds us that the spiritual battles require divine strength, which is why we must put on the armor of God.

Now, just to give you an idea how this plays out in Daniel the Book of Daniel, Daniel is he’s asking the Lord for direction, for he asked, he he wants, he needs answers. He’s just praying to God help me. So in Daniel ten eight through twenty one, Daniel wrote, so I was left alone gazing at this great vision, and I had I had no strength left. My face said turned deathly pale, and I was helpless.

Then I heard him speaking, and as I listened to him, I fell into a deep sleep in my face to the ground, and a hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees. He said, Daniel, you who are highly esteemed, consider it carefully the words I’m about to speak to you, and stand up for I have now been sent to you, says an angel. I’ve been sent to you. And when he said this to me, I stood up trembling.

Then he continued, do not be afraid, Daniel, since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God. Your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But since but the Prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty one days. So the angel got tied up in a battle for twenty one days with the king of Persia, the demon over Persia.

So remember, let’s go back to Asian six. What is that? How does that playing out? Well, we need to have our armor on, so we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes, and we can be able to withstand the firing. You know, if back in Ephesian six sixteen, it says, in addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one and seventeen. Then to take the helmet of salvation and the word sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

But Paul said, our struggle is not against against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Well, this is the battle in the heavenly realms, He says, Daniel, from the time you were coming to the Lord humbly, I was dispatched to give you the answer. But I’ve got in a fight. I got tied up with the Prince of the Persian Kingdom, who resisted me from twenty for twenty one days, I couldn’t get to you because of this warfare.

Then Michael, one of the chief princes, he came to help me. Remember Michael talked about fighting with Satan over the body of Moses. So he is archangel. He’s he’s got game, if you want to look at it from a worldly sense.

So Michael, one of the chief princes, came and he helped that angel because he had been detained by the king there with the King of Persia, and now freed him up. And now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerning a time has yet to come. And then he gives him the answer down in verse twenty. So he said, do you know why it came to you? Soon I will return to fight against the Prince of Persia.

And when I go, the Prince of Greece will come. But first I tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. No one supports me against them except Michael, your prince. See, there’s a lot going on.

There’s a lot going in a world. There’s people walking around in darkness, the people who don’t want their lights to be their their lives to be exposed or deeds. So what when when we are around people understand, have live with them with understanding that we need to be preyed up, we need to be prepared, and we need to not get caught up in their dark world. So if they are rude, if they are if they are conniving, Jesus said to be as wise as serpents, gentle as doves, doesn’t mean we’re rollover.

I mean, doesn’t mean that will well, they written me off because that’s what they do. No, there’s still we’re still under law and order. But we but I think for me and I think for you too. If as we’re walking in step with the spirit and we understand, we’re understanding that the people that were encountering that are not born again.

They’re ignorant of how destructive their their selfishness is to their lives. Because the only way you come to christ Is if you come humbly. But Lucifer is arrogant, and he is his demons are working through the children of disobedience, and this will this will be like this until the New Heaven and the New Earth, and all of evil, death, Satan and all the demons are casting out of darkness forever. So don’t be surprised when people of the world do what people of the world do.

Walk firmly in the Lord, walk humbly with resolution, prepared to minister to them. If they are called out of the darkness, hold them accountable just like anybody else, if they’re violating the law, or if they’re if they’re we don’t, We’re not going to be. You don’t allow yourself to be mistreated. You just know that that is not a surprise when they do these things.

It’s like we see this in politics. The Democratic Party, if you look at their platform, or if you look at people on the Republican Party, who there who at the way they vote is in line with policies that encourage people to be on welfare, encourage people to allow the border to be opened so unvetted people can come in lawlessness, then unsaved people that are behind a political movement that are advancing in their agenda the homosexual agenda, transgender agenda, open borders, high taxes, redistribution of assets by taking those who are working hard and giving some of the fruit to those who are not. And this exaltation of government to being God, controlling speech and everything versus giving all the glory to God. And then living in a country where everything is local and we’re where then the communities help to educate the children, and all and all of these everything the federal government is doing that is outside of the Tenth Amendment needs to be taken away, and everything needs to be sent back locally, and then we can we then are doing the mandate of the Great Commission.

We are local, and then we go out to the state level. And then for those called or if there’s opportunities, we help the nation. And then for those few people called to be missionaries, then they go out to the world. Anymore, though we can take our resources and send them to the world instead of sending people and their local native people can do the work.

It’s like Gospel for Asia and other ministries. But I’m regressing. So we’re in a world. We’re in a world where it’s constant spiritual warfare.

But Jesus said, don’t worry. It’s kind of like this, and this is a this is a very minimal comparison, but I think you’ll understand it when if you have ever watched a scary, very scary movie, and let’s say no one told you about it, and the first time you saw it, or even the second time, you get shocked by what happens, and it’s a terrorize it’s it’s terrifying to you. But if you watch it over and over, at certain points are like, Okay, the guy’s gonna jump out, this person’s going it’s not anymore because you know, you know how it’s going to go down. And the reality of spiritual warfare, we know that there’s going to be demonic possession.

We know there’s going to be oppression where people, you know, they get depressed, and the demons will even get people to cut themselves or to take medications or to be angry. So it’s shocking at first, but then as you as we walk alonger with the Lord, you go terrific what Lucifer and the demons are causing people to do. But it shouldn’t be shocking, which is why the more the Internet has grown and the more access we have the information, the more it’s like, Oh, how could the guy walk up in New York City and push somebody in front of a train. How could they abuse children? How could they abuse, you know, torture, all this stuff that we just don’t want to know about.

It’s because of the influence of the demonic host, working through the sons of disobedience, working for those, especially for those in darkness, for a father of death, the little g of this world until Jesus takes back to Toddle deed in Revelation nineteen. So we don’t want to be down right, we don’t want to be depressed. We want to be prepared. In Romans eight thirty seven, we have victory through Christ and all these things, with all the trials and everything.

Romans eight thirty seven Paul wrote, and all these things, we are more than conquerors to Him who loved us. We have an assurance that as the children of God, the co errors with Christ, that is, victors. Regardless of the challenges, we will be victorious now. In Isaiah fifty four or seventeen, Paul wrote, no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you to prophecy in Isaiah, this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from Me, declares the Lord.

This verse assures believers that God’s protection shields them from every form of spiritual attack. One more time, Isaiah fifty four to seventeen. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from Me, declares the Lord.

Two Timothy one point seven, Paul writes concerning the spirit of power, love, and self control, for the spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self discipline in the heat of these spiritual battles. This verse reassures us that believers in God’s Holy Spirit, we’re emboldened, so we can stand firm with confidence and clarity. We need to be trained up Psalm one four one. Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.

So whatever spiritual battles we’re running in, we will run into God equips us. That’s why we need to walk and step with the Holy Spirit now. Jesus in Matthew eighteen eighteen told the apostles believers in Jesus Christ, tell truly, I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loose in heaven.

Believers, they are given authority through Christ to resist the spiritual forces that oppose God’s will. And I wanted to stop here for a second. I more and more I refer to believers as christ followers or people of the way, because the unfortunately in America, Christian which we were first called the Church, was first called Christians, and Antioch the little Christ the Christians. There is such a falling away taking place, like the Bible said in the end, people would fall away from the faith, pursuing sermons, pursuing things that would tickle their ears.

They would want false They like the false teaching. Yes, greater is he who is in us and he who is in the world. Yes, Jesus is Lord. We are in a battle.

Lucifer is not someone that you want to spend this effort that you are going to be binding spiritual forces. We need to go to the Lord. We need to ask him. Holy Spirit, hedge around me, help me to walk aware, keep me on the straight path, don’t let me turn to the right of the left.

I do pray against the demonic world, but I’ve seen many a false preacher teacher and convert to their false churches. It’s all they talk about. I bind you, I bind you, I bind you. Make much of Jesus.

The great commission is to make disciples. We we with the Holy Spirit in us, have authority in Jesus’ name, but God’s will will determine what he does in circumstances. So just my encouragement to you is, don’t get don’t get wrapped up in this spiritual battle, this this mania that’s taking place. There’s authority.

But the Apostles had a had a Apostolic calling on them, which gave them this ability to to be bitten by snakes and to heal the dead. That that ceased. Those that specific apostolic calling died with John. That’s it.

We now are in the world. We’re not of the world. Just as the prophets were killed and they hated Jesus, they will hate us. But in this Holy Spirit we are not timid.

But and we have the power, and we have love in us, and we have self discipline. But we need to really look to Christ’s victory over evil. So Clausians two fifteen, And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them triumphing over them by the cross.
