Anchored in Oklahoma: Why I left California For The Sooner State

Why anchored in Oklahoma? You guys are in the your guys are in the South Midwest. What’s with this anchor idea? As a Christian, my faith, my truth, my values are based on God’s word. So I’m anchored into truth. But being that I finally escaped from California and I have moved here to the Sooner State, I have now my wife and I have put down.

Our anchor in this beautiful state. Everything is everything is. Here, Our children are here, our grandchildren are here, and we’re excited to share. The Oklahoma experience with you as I become more and more part.

Of this beautiful state. But we’re gonna be covering. We’ll be covering and you know national stories that I think you need to know about. I started in the Marine Corps from nineteen eighty seven to ninety one, and I’ve was a live radio talk show host in Fresno.

So I’ve done way too much just straight political talk. And because I’ve come to the realization it’s we the people at the local and state level. You know the ballot harvesting we just saw done by Charlie Kirk and his group. That is how we.

Win elections, and that is how we get our school boards to make sure that there’s no there’s no propaganda being advanced in the schools, that any child that is being that’s violent, or if there’s bullying, the school board can make sure that the schools are free from those things. Because if you’re going to send your kid to a public school, which I don’t recommend we home school, but if you do, you’re definitely going to want to make sure that they’re there to learn how to learn the basics writing, writing, reading, arithmetic, but also that they learn how to function in groups, and that they are preparing themselves for whatever our economy looks like in five ten fifteen years when they’re getting out of school. As AI is so prevalently in robotics are getting introduced and even overtaking certain industries. So we want to make sure over here.

I want to make sure that you understand that God is in control and he loves you if you love him, so there’s a security there. We have an anchor. We have truth to base our opinions on. But we have, like I said, a constitution and bill of rights, so everyone should be treated equally.

And here in Oklahoma, you will see that you can meet people in all parts of town here in Oe, Tulsa, and broken Arown, even over the people I’ve met over in Oklahoma City, the people love living here. And regardless of what state you live in, if you’re not local. The reason why it’s like this is because churches are anchoring the communities. The people have their anchors and they are they They then want to live in communities that are safe.

So there’s an expectation that they have for their their officials or city officials in the police department. So we’ll be talking about if there’s trends that are going the opposite direction, like I saw in California in the thirty years on and off, we’re going to talk about what’s going on with the federal government so we can make sure as we vote people into office, if you’re in Ohio, if you’re in Missouri, if you’re in Florida, even if you’re in a blue state like Colorado, that you you connect with people who are going to make sure that school boards, mayors, governors are doing the right things. Because we are in a representative constitution. We’re a constitutional republic, so we when we elect people, we are electing them to do our will, not their will.

And that’s the problem. For example, continuing resolution. This affects us in Oklahoma, This affects everybody. Do you know that our Congress, the House Representative is supposed to be passing budgets like most people have a budget, but they don’t.

They they’ve they’ve used an accounting mechanism that they’ve been allowed to use, which was a called a continuing resolution, which was created just in case there’s problems getting people back, you know, like during the Revolutionary War and and then then the new country. How what if you couldn’t get people back to vote? So they so well, well, you know, we’ve had issues and and and what if somebody has to be farming, and someone sick, and someone’s horses. So over the over the years they said, let’s have an. Ability just to keep the government running at a certain spending levels and things until we can get everybody back.

Well, what what the modern day politicians have been doing is we just can’t We can’t do a budget because then we would have to cut our spending in our local constituents are addicted to spending, and because of that when we can’t agree to a budget, which is why we’re thirty four trillion dollars in debt. So what they say is, let’s just do a something called omnibus bill, which is we’re not going to have individual bills, bills, on military bills, on you know, social security, medicare, the the the uh you know, education or whatever, whatever, the whatever spending. However they want to group those those expenditures, the discretionary spending and the non the non non discretionary spending military social services, you know, well, soci security, medicare, Medican so we have fixed costs, but then you have all these other pork spending bridges and and emergency aid and all these things. Money to Ukraine et cetera.

So what they’ve said is, well, let’s just pass a massive spending bill is a continuing resolution, and then in three months or six months, we will pass a budget. Now, you and I, as we have voted for our representatives in the US House and the Senate, we didn’t vote for our representatives to do this to make it worse this time. And they do this every year right before Christmas because everyone wants to get home, and all the representatives they just want to get a build over to Biden. So they they rush through this huge spending bill, you know, till March or till June.

But then instead of just doing a continuing resolution, let’s can let’s continue how it has been running, no changes, sign sign extend the date, raise the national dead limits so we can continue to borrow to keep at the certain same levels. And then what do they do this They go and they just got caught trying to give themselves a forty percent pay raise while we were focusing on Christmas. After Thanksgiving, they were like, well, let’s go one hundred million dollars or whatever for emergency eight for North Carolina in the states that were affected, and forty billion over you know, just money out coming out of their ears. Just well, we got to take care of the people that struggled.

Yeah, that’s true. But what what they did is they just blew up the spending. They didn’t. They just did.

They didn’t do a continuing resolution. They did a continuing plus as they were trying to do a continuing plus resolution. And for those of us in Oklahoma and those of us that are conservative, absolutely not. And it’s only because.

Of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswami’s doge that has connected all of these conservatives on acts and other platforms to say, hold on a second. No, no, no, no, no, we’re looking at we’re looking at the massive, massive, fifteen hundred page bill, and. It is full of oink, is full of pork. Don’t do it, don’t do it, don’t do it, don’t do it.

People got upset, so they called their House members and said absolutely not. President Trump came in absolutely not. Well, the thirty plus House members didn’t didn’t stay the course like normal, and they voted against it. So in the end, we just did individual bills kind of continuing as is, like it should be.

But that isn’t how DC wanted to work. And they’re in the establishments furious with us. So we need to work. We need to be connecting with people and groups like Turning Point and Scott Presler to make sure that it is a year round ballot harvesting voter registration process for state and national elections.

So we’ll be talking about that a lot here. Oklahoma is the only state in twenty on November fifth, twenty twenty four, only state that every county went red. And why is that? Because people want to be left alone. Then people choose if they want to be involved with things, and the local politicians and even up to the state Senate are told by their constituents back home, leave us alone, and it works.

Why do you think Florida is doing so well under Governor DeSantis Because he’s been purging out all of the radical left agendas, including DEI, which is the indoctrination of youth against traditional America and even white Christian men especially. It’s a reverse racism type of poison that would come out of the heart of a communist that doesn’t fear God. But so DeSantis is doing great down there. We have good we have good governors here.

A stint He’s going to be leaving he’s done. I would what I can see a ninety percent good job Tennessee, a good governor. So the roadmap is there constitutions in place. So let’s let’s let’s continue here in Oklahoma to keep bringing in conservatives that want to move and escape from California.

Like I did, come to sooner stage be an Ou fan or a Oklahoma State fan. Tulsa fan, Well, there’s an upper mobility, real estate and brand new house for twenty two hundred and thirty grand. Even in the thriving areas of Tulsa State, taxes are lower. Gasoline’s about seventy five cents to a dollar fifty dollars ready a gallon, cheaper like in California.

But there’s churches on every corner, which means you have a you have a safety net for the community that’s not based off of government. It is based off of the gospel and people that care. That is how that is why we moved here to the state of Oklahoma. One of the things I did when I got here is I started talking to more and more people about you know, you really should stop supporting companies like KT and T, Verizon, Sprint.

You know, these long distance companies. They take part of your bills and they support causes that we disagree with in Oklahoma, and even libertarians and conservatives around the country disagree with. But maybe you didn’t know that. Well, there’s been a mass exodus underway for the last several years.

I think Russia introduced one of the first national people to this company called Pure Talk in Covington, Georgia, and it works this way. He told me, you need to switch over. You can keep your phones, keep your phone numbers and all that. And I said, okay, let me check them out.

Was got there in nineteen eighty in California. I watched it go from a red state to a to a kind of a pink state to a purple state to communism, and it took so it was so expensive to get out of state that for those of us, that for those who had homes that were paid off, they sold and they got out years ago. People like me, I missed the real estate spike, so I had to do it the hard way. I worked hard, saved up, and then I escaped.

And there’s still people escaping. You may be here in Oklahoma, or you may be in a red state where you escaped. And the reason why if you don’t know if you’re in a red state like Oklahoma or Zouri or Arkansas or whatever. Now Texas.

The reason why you maybe maybe you don’t really fully understand what it’s like to live under communism in a nation that the states are still supposed to be under the authority of the Constitution, but they don’t. But the Marxists and the Communists in these states, they don’t care when they keep passing laws and then they get challenged and they don’t care, and so their borders are open. I mean, they actually are inviting people in to be any illegal sanctuary city or state. So it’s it’s just stressful and that’s why we’re so glad.

To be here. Now. There’s stories that we can see. My wife and I years ago we were over in Germany and we were in France, we were in Paris, we were in Is, Turkey, and what you could see when we went to the German Christmas markets is you could see an awesome German culture.

Beautiful, yeah, the hot teas and the bakery items and even if you once you got to the little uh like areas where they had beer, you could get brought worse or hot dogs, and I mean, and the people were bundled up and they loved. They just love this time of year. Well, the European. Union has for now twenty years been getting the leaders of the nations like France and Italy and Germany and Ireland to agree.

To take. Massive numbers of migrants. If you want to be part of the you you had to. The problem is if you’ve been to Saudi Arabia, like I did briefly when I was flying into Bahrain, if you’ve been to Jordan, if you’ve if you’ve been around, you’ll notice there is a significant number of people in what I deem to be false religions that want the whole world to be forced to be part of their movement, to be part of their caliphates.

I heard an emam years ago that said they were used the US Constitution to try to destroy the US Constitution. As an American right, as we the people, we just need to keep in mind that everyone deserves respect in our nation. Everyone should be treated equally. But we need to be aware that there’s certain groups like the Islamist that they want the whole world to be converted by force.

So here’s the bad news. This happened over in Wisconsin a few years ago. This was not part of the islamis this. This was a guy that decided to go run people over at a Christmas parade.

I think it was Kenosha well in Magdenburg, Germany, where they had a Christmas market, which is the whole center of town is dedicated for the Christmas market. A guy asylum seeker, an activist promoted by the legacy media outlets including the BBC. He is charged with five counts of murder and two hundred counts of attempted murder with dangerous bottle harm. They revealed that one of the same victims was a nine year old child.

In the forty one were seriously injured before the death count continues to rise. Senior public Prosecutor Horst Walter said the suspect doctor Loan and said of his and said of his motive quote according to the current situation, the background could have been dissatisfaction with the treatment of Saudi Arabian refugees in Germany. They’re identifying him as talib A. We need to be talking about how our nation after we hopefully have deported twenty five million people here that we didn’t verify or bet, but we need to decide what is tolerable.

Law and order. How do the laws get increase to the point that that’s they’re actually the laws in the threat of imprisonment are deterrence because right now I saw in California George Soros, you know, the globalist, anti capitalist, even though he’s wealthy from capitalism. He his groups like the Open Society, they were given billions of dollars and then they fund elections of local district attorneys, and those district attorneys then which are given prosecutorial discretion, they don’t prosecute certain people. And this is why California is so dangerous.

This is why New York is so dangerous, Chicago is so dangerous, Atlanta so dangerous, Baltimore, DC, Seattle, Portland. There’s no there’s no accident that if you. If you reject Judeo Christian values, if you reject the significant parts of the Constitution because you are pursuing equity, that you you are going to be prone to more crime because guess what criminals know that, Well, if I can get to California, if I’m illegal alien, for example, I’m not going to get deported, and I can steal up to one thousand dollars in most in some areas without even without it even being a felony, and the district attorneys have not been prosecuting even if you did violate it violate the laws. So I don’t want to be a downer about this.

I just want you to know the reason why I came here from California is because I don’t want to live in that chaos. And there’s progressives that are also moving out of California, but they’re going to areas where it’s not as expensive, and they they will go into states like Florida and Texas and even here in Oklahoma. I’ve met some that they want to bring their communism with them, but for some reason they think that if they can convert a red state to purple, somehow, there’s going to be some type of merging between their Marxist ideology, their woke ideology there, you know, their diversity push somehow that that’s going to merge. And you put it in a bowl and you mix it together with conservative constitutional thought, and it doesn’t what it does.

It causes division in states, and it causes issues like we have in Tulsa, where we have liberals on the city council. We’ve had rhinos just had a Rhino mayor that stepped down. So what do you have in Tulsa? Increased crime, shootings, homelessness. I can see, I can see a mini I could see you.

Like. Tulsa reminds me of some of this cities in California that started one way and then they just just started. Okay, we’re an open city. Bring come on in.

We are open to legal immigration. We’ll take care of you. We’re open to homelessness. We’ll take care of you.

The next thing you can just predict it. You can hear it on the news. Shooting, shooting, shooting, murder, shooting, stabbing, murder, don’t We don’t want to have people running people over in Wisconsin. We don’t want people that we know there are people on the terror watch list in our country.

We don’t know where they are. We know there’s hundreds of thousands of children that are missing that we’re brought up by the cartels. So we we just need to stay by state. Purge, punish, and encourage those who are following the laws and helping them.

To live life. Liberty, pursuit of happiness, property right. It can be done. And that’s why I’m anchored in Oklahoma.

You may achor somewhere else, but for me, anchoring in the Lord, anchoring in the Word, which, by the way, when you anchor in the Word of God, it causes humility and causes a mindset of serving others and putting other people’s interests ahead of your own. But then you serve people and help people in your community as moved by God’s love, not looking to the government, going you need to fix these problems. And I’m just going to sit on the sideline. That is not how our constitution, in our system a governance, was set up.

So let’s get back to roots. Let’s have some fun. I’ll be telling you history stories. Where do some of these sayings that we say, where did they come from? Sports? If there’s a good sports story, I’ll well have some fun with it.

I’ll do some polling on who’s the best basketball player ever? Who’s better owe you? If you’re in Oklahoma, who’s the best football team in Oklahoma? Who’s the best team nationally? What’s the best sport, what’s the best movies, what’s the best music. Let’s have fun, Let’s encourage each other. Let’s understand that we’re all valuable and if we’re going to have communities that are safe, communities that. Are thriving.

Then we need to tell the federal government through our representatives, through Elon Musk, and shut down the Department of Education, close offices, sell off the real estate, give the power back to the states. And I’m convinced if we do that, wherever you’re to, wherever you are anchored, will be better. And I’m looking forward to it, and together, I’m hoping that in the next three, four or five years, as this administration comes in, we can continue to hold them accountable for their promises. And that we can after.

By twenty thirty, instead of us becoming this global estate like the Marxists want, we can instead be a state. In a country that people go unbelievable. What God did with that country tree unbelievable, that the opportunities still thrive, and that they were able to take technology and use it to help the population. As the population got to work, and as the borders were secure and the vaccine stuff and all that was taking fixed and taking care of and we got and we got healthy again, we will be this city on a hill.
