Texas Recovers 30 Unaccompanied Minors, All Linked to Sponsors

The ongoing border crisis under the Biden administration continues to raise alarm, with Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) releasing footage on Friday showing the recovery of 29 unaccompanied minors. These children, ranging in age from 10 to 17, were found and handed over to the Border Patrol. According to reports, all of the minors had “sponsors” located in various states, including California, Colorado, New York, Florida, and Maine. This recovery adds to the ongoing concerns surrounding the chaotic situation at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The issue of unaccompanied minors arriving at the U.S. border has become a critical aspect of the border debate. In this case, Texas authorities discovered these 29 minors, all of whom had sponsors waiting for them in different states. These sponsors are often family members, acquaintances, or individuals who have taken responsibility for the children, though questions remain about the vetting process and the safety of the children.

The practice of placing minors with sponsors has long been a part of U.S. immigration policy, but the surge of children crossing the border in recent years has led to concerns about the effectiveness of the system. Critics argue that many children are being lost in the process, as highlighted by reports last month that approximately 325,000 children were unaccounted for as a result of the Biden administration’s border policies. The lack of oversight and communication between agencies has allowed children to slip through the cracks, raising fears about trafficking and exploitation.

In addition to the unaccompanied minors, Texas DPS also released footage from Friday showing 165 illegal aliens being apprehended near Quemado, Texas, close to Eagle Pass. Among these individuals, 14 were identified as being from “special interest” countries such as Iran, Egypt, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This has raised national security concerns, as individuals from these countries may require additional scrutiny due to their potential ties to regions of geopolitical instability or terrorism.

In addition to these apprehensions, Texas authorities made 57 arrests for trespassing, as many of the individuals had entered private property. The arrested individuals came from a variety of countries, including Peru, El Salvador, and Honduras, highlighting the diversity of nationalities attempting to cross the border illegally.

The border crisis continues to be a central issue of the Biden-Harris administration. Vice President Kamala Harris, who was appointed as the “Border Czar,” has been criticized for not effectively addressing the situation. Despite numerous efforts, the surge in illegal border crossings has persisted, leading to overcrowded detention facilities, a stretched Border Patrol workforce, and increasingly strained relations between the federal government and border states like Texas.

As the situation unfolds, the recovery of unaccompanied minors and the rising number of illegal crossings underscore the ongoing challenges facing the U.S. border system. Both state and federal authorities are working to address these issues, but without significant reform, the crisis shows no signs of abating.

Footage from this next video shows how seriously the State of Texas takes its border security. While the Federal Government has neglected its Constitutional duties under Article IV, Section 4, DPS footage shows law enforcement lining up along the border wall with vehicles and sirens flashing as a show of force. Texas, unlike Kamala and Biden, actually cares about protecting the country.

Texas DPS has courageously been on the front lines in Texas keeping the border secure. Operation Lone Star has been successful at catching illegals, smugglers, and drug shipments. It was launched in 2021 by Republican Governor Greg Abbott in response to an intentionally neglectful Federal Government.

A shocking 15 million illegal aliens have invaded the US under the Biden/Harris regime.
