Former President Donald Trump will stand trial in an election year for ostensibly causing other people to commit crimes. President Joe Biden will escape charges based on the conduct of other people he encouraged because Biden is the ruling incumbent and also a Democrat.
A Venezuelan immigrant allegedly murdered 22-year-old nursing student Laken Hope Riley while she was out jogging by the lake at the University of Georgia.
Authorities arrested 26-year-old Jose Antonio Ibarra and charged him with felonies related to the murder over the weekend. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed to Fox News on Sunday that Ibarra entered the United States illegally and was previously arrested in New York.
“In a statement to Fox News Digital, ICE confirmed he had been encountered by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on Sept. 8, 2022, after entering near El Paso and was “paroled and released for further processing,” the network reported. “ICE also confirmed that Ibarra had been arrested by the New York Police Department a year later, on Sept. 14, 2023, and ‘charged with acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17 and a motor vehicle license violation.’”
